I am currently an H.C. Wang Assistant Professor in the mathematics department at Cornell University. I have also been a member of the Mathematics and Climate Research Network since it began in 2010. My primary field of interest is nonlinear (applied) dynamical systems. I focus mostly on fast/slow systems, nonsmooth systems, bifurcations, and oscillations. I enjoy both developing the theory further and applying the existing theory to interesting applications, generally coming from climate science.
- MCRN Annual meeting (Chapel Hill, NC) – September 14-18
- Joint Math Meetings (Seattle, WA) – January 6-9
- Organizer: Workshop on Nonsmooth Climate Dynamics (Barcelona, Spain) – dates TBA. The workshop will be associated with a 3 month program on nonsmooth dynamics.
Here is the most up-to-date version of my CV.
